It’s your baby’s birthday! One already! Where did the time go?

Cake Smash & Splash sessions are a great way to document this milestone and let their personality shine through and most importantly, have fun… It’s like a mini-intimate birthday party!

If a Cake Smash is not what you fancy, I offer a First Birthday Portrait sessions where baby is the Star of the show! We will use different set ups and outfits as well as photograph you together for a Family Portrait.

HOW IT WORKS

You Cake Smash at my Greenwich studio in South East London lasts approximately 1 hour and it is split into 3 parts:

Simple “clean” portraits of your little one, before bringing in the cake
Smash time! When we bring in the cake (or fruit, if you are looking for a more natural alternative) and let your baby dive in!
… and bubbles (soapy one, that is) to relax and splash away while capturing a few more special photographs.

To create your gallery of images we will style the session with a beautiful classic birthday setup, based on your favourite colours.

We’ll include tasteful matching decorations (such as bunting, handcrafted props and balloons), without cluttering the scene – we want your baby to be the star!

While for most photographers, the Cake Smash only focuses on baby, I love to include one family portrait if you wish to do so! Years from now, your (then grown up) baby will treasure and love that beautiful picture with mum and dad possibly even more than the others!

I work with a beautiful team of bakers that can expertly bake cakes that match your setup and are of the right consistency and size for your little one. We can also cater for allergies if your baby had any special dietary requirements.

And don’t worry! If this is your first Cake Smash… I’ve got your back! My prep guide does not only include tips on how to prepare for the session, it also gives you guidance on how to prepare baby for their first… CAKE ENCOUNTER!

Want your gallery back in time for the birthday party?

Make sure to book in advance as we will need the session to be scheduled 3 weeks or more before the big day.

All Cake Smash take place at my studio in South East London (Greenwich)
