Cake smash photography South East London

Cake smashes are so much fun! They are a great way to celebrate your baby turning one, and are an experience that both you and your child will love!

Before your cake smash session, I will discuss with you what theme or colours you would prefer, and I then arrange the props, outfit and cake. So all you need to do is prepare for a lot of fun and frolics!

A word of warning though. Everyone gets messy at a cake smash – even the parents! Your baby will be photographed with their beautifully iced birthday cake first. Then the real fun starts!

I start off by taking a portrait of your baby, without the birthday cake, so that you will always remember what they looked like at that milestone. Then, your baby will be photographed with their beautifully iced birthday cake. That’s when the real fun starts!

They will be encouraged to smash it up and devour it to their heart’s content while I record the whole thing on camera! This is followed by a much-needed clean up in a miniature bubble bath, which is another opportunity for me to take more adorable photos.

A cake smash first birthday portrait session is a chance for me to capture some wonderful, fun portraits. Your little one’s cheeky personality will shine through and the photos will be a lasting memory of them turning one, and officially transitioning from baby to toddler.
