In today’s blog, I’m going to be introducing you to some lovely local baby businesses that you may want to check out.
Local baby businesses I recommend
I happen to know several independent business owners; all lovely ladies with a common interest in either pregnancy, birth and parenting.
As I am, with my baby portrait photography business, they’re all serving the community in the local area; covering Greenwich and south-east London.
In the spirit of collaboration, I’m giving them a shout-out today.

Specialist pregnancy, baby and parenting services
Why am I doing this?
Well, becoming a parent opens up a whole new world. I know because I’ve been there, twice!
It’s unchartered territory for most. And it can be difficult to know who to turn to or who to trust if you’re in need of some external advice, support or specialist services.
For example, during your pregnancy you may want to:
- take up a pregnancy yoga class or hire someone to give you a pregnancy massage
- hire a hypnobirthing consultant to help you prepare for the birth of your baby
- or even seek out the help of a doula to support you on the day of your baby’s arrival.
Or if your baby has already arrived, you may want to:
- get the support of a lactation consultant if you’re breastfeeding your new baby
- or you may be looking for a baby yoga class to take your newborn along to since you’ve heard it can help to relieve common baby ailments like indigestion and constipation.
All of this and more, I’ve got you covered!
A personal recommendation
It’s often really valuable to receive a personal recommendation, isn’t it?
A Google search will bring up lots of options. But when you’re busy juggling family and work, researching local consultants or specialist support services can easily fall to the bottom of the to-do list.
